Responsibilities

Installing, inspecting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications. Diagnosing electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to identify faults efficiently. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute installations accurately. Conducting routine maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently. Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks on time and within budget. Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards. Maintaining detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to read technical diagrams accurately. A valid UK driving licence is desirable for travel between sites. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a keen eye for detail.
