Job Summary
We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our team.
Based in Birmingham/Solihull
and willing to travel across the UK throughout the week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of ANPR camera systems, across our estate, according to customer specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work with both power and hand tools effectively. The Electrician will ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
Duties
Design, install, maintain and decommission the ANPR systems according to customer specifications and contractual obligations.
Carry out diagnostics to find and repair system faults.
Undertake a variety of tasks relating to the setup and maintenance of our electrical infrastructure.
Ensure that Quality and Health and Safety standards are always maintained.
Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure that maintenance is completed on time and to budget.
Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation/Electrotechnical Technology.
City and Guilds 2382 (18th Edition).
Extensive knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations and IEE Wiring Regulations.
City and Guilds 2391 or 2394/95 (Inspection and Testing).
Clean and valid UK driving licence.
ECS Gold Card.

Technical Skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience with electrical installations, preferably with commercial/industrial knowledge.
Working knowledge of I.P. addresses and configuration.
Experience in Cat 5 & 6 data networking and cabling.
Understanding of single and three phase systems, commercial lighting systems, and control systems including contactors.
IPAF - Mobile Access Platforms Categories 3A & 3B (desirable).
