T&D Electrical (Southern) Ltd is one of the leading electrical contractors in the South of England, specialising in full-scope electrical installations across new-build residential and commercial developments. We work with some of the UK's top-tier developers, and we're proud to be delivering the electrical installation package on a major multi-unit residential development in Oxford.

We're expanding our team and looking for fully qualified electricians who take pride in their work and want to be part of a professional, well-structured company with long-term opportunities.

The Role:

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation work on a large-scale residential development site. The scope includes first and second fix works, containment, testing, and final fit-out of plant rooms and communal areas to a high standard. This is not a maintenance or reactive role - it is structured new-build work from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out first and second fix installations to current wiring regulations. Install trunking, tray, conduit, and various forms of containment. Terminate consumer units and distribution boards. Read and work from technical drawings and site plans. Work as part of a structured team delivering phased handovers. Collaborate with supervisors and site management to meet programme deadlines. Ensure work is compliant with BS 7671 and site-specific specifications. Carry out dead and live testing (if suitably qualified). Maintain high standards of site cleanliness, health and safety.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671). ECS Gold Card (JIB-approved Electrician). Previous experience working on residential new-build developments. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and schematics. Own hand tools and basic battery tools (larger tools supplied). Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Desirable but not essential:

2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification. PASMA, IPAF, or SSSTS certifications. Experience with fire alarm, access control or EV charging systems.
