Overview

We are looking for an electrician for small commercial works and sometimes to help out on the bigger projects in the north west.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse projects while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.

Duties

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing faults efficiently. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute installation or repair tasks accurately. Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety guidelines. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters. Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints accurately. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour
