Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience with high and low voltage systems, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. This role requires attention to safety standards and the ability to work effectively on construction sites, ensuring all electrical components meet NEC codes and safety regulations.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in commercial and industrial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations and repairs Use hand tools, power tools, meters (ohmmeter, ammeter), and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local electrical codes Perform maintenance on low voltage and high voltage systems safely and efficiently Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical work with other trades such as frame carpentry Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used Adhere to all safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment

Qualifications

Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices Construction site experience preferred Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Knowledge of NEC standards and safety regulations for electrical work Valid electrician license or certification preferred but not mandatory for internship roles Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
