Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be involved in the commercial installation, maintenance, and repair (callout as well as scheduled) of electrical systems across various sites, primarily agricultural.

These roles offer an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong electrical and/or mechanical background to contribute to projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Candidates will be considered whether qualified or time served, with an electrical or mechanical background.

Duties

Installation, inspection, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial or industrial settings. Troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and rectify faults efficiently. Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations. Maintaining detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project - this is recorded electronically on specific software. Conduct routine maintenance on existing electrical/mechanical systems to prevent future failures.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics for a panel building vacancy. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid UK driving licence is essential. Company vehicle provided. Pay: 13.66-28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
