Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards. Duties

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, then perform necessary repairs or replacements Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute installations accurately Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks efficiently Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate installation or repair activities Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role within the electrical trade Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills and saws Strong electrical experience with knowledge of wiring methods, circuit design, and safety procedures Relevant qualifications such as a recognised Electrician's certification or apprenticeship completion Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards at all times

Pay: 180.00-220.00 per day
