Essential Responsibilities

Health & Safety SSSTS/SMSTS preferred Install, maintain, and test electrical systems for solar PV and battery storage solutions. Work on commercial, industrial and utility projects, including rooftop and ground mount installations. Supervise and manage operatives on site when required. Conduct fault-finding, testing, and repairs to ensure safe and efficient systems. Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, company standards, and health & safety procedures. Accurately complete reports, documentation, and commissioning records. Liaise with clients, project managers, and colleagues to deliver high-quality service. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the business.

Key Skills

MCS accredited (desirable) 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) (essential) Registered with a Competent Person Scheme (e.g. NAPIT, NICEIC) (desirable) Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified electrician. (essential) Comms/data/MODBUS wiring experience (desirable) Previous experience within the renewable industry preferred (not essential - training provided). Commercial/industrial electrical experience preferred but not essential. Willingness to supervise and manage operatives. Strong communication and reporting skills. Effective problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational skills with the ability to arrange work independently. IT literate. Full UK driver's licence
