Job Description

Due to our recent growth and success we are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team on a long-term contract basis within a high-security prison environment.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in carpentry, along with a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a challenging setting. have created the need to expand our team.

You will be working as part of a day-to-day reactive team, providing reactive carpentry work, tasks including working on fire doors, furniture building, and general carpentry tasks. You will be inside the prison establishment, so you must be comfortable in this environment. You may be required to work elsewhere, we work across the public and private sectors, including education establishments, hospitals, high-security prisons, social housing, etc.

You must also be able to pass a strict vetting process, have a DBS (if you do not already have this, we can assist with getting it), NVQ (Preferred) and CSCS are desirable.

Carrying out general carpentry Have own transport & tools Hold a full UK driver's license Be able to operate power tools Be hardworking, punctual and reliable Be respectful towards clients and the public Have pride in your work with a good eye for detail Adhere to company policies whilst on site

Your primary responsibilities are (but are not limited to):

Ability to carry out work to a high standard Work independently and as part of a team Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all safe operating procedures specific to the industry Ability to carry out work to a high standard Take responsibility for flagging variations in work against the schedule Manage own time effectively

Pay: 200.00-210.00 per day
