to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments. You'll ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and test electrical systems including wiring, lighting, sockets, consumer units, and appliances.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs or replacements as required.
Carry out periodic electrical inspections and condition reports (EICRs).
Ensure all work complies with the latest electrical regulations (e.g., BS 7671).
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Work on a variety of projects including new installations, refurbishments, and maintenance jobs.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and timesheets.
Follow all company health & safety procedures and site-specific safety requirements.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on all jobs.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing).
ECS/JIB Gold Card (or equivalent).
Proven experience working as an electrician in domestic, commercial, or industrial settings.
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK driving license
Desirable Qualifications (but not essential):
Experience with EV charger installations, smart home systems, or renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar PV).
PASMA/IPAF certification or similar site qualifications.
First Aid certification.
