We are currently seeking an excellent and suitably experienced

Electrician

to help maintain our range of temporary accommodations for Cameron Guest House Group and the Place Hotel in the city center of Edinburgh.

Cameron Guest House Group is a family-run business that collaborates directly with the Council of Edinburgh. The Place Hotel on York Place in Edinburgh is an award winning four-star 47-room boutique townhouse Hotel, with a purpose-built Conference & Event space with extensive outdoor terrace and banqueting facilities.

What do we look for?

You will possess a UK driver's licence and be able to drive (ideally living in the Edinburgh area). You will be fully qualified with IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671 (2018 and Amendment2 of 2022) You will have experience working on electric installations in the UK. you will be proficient in the English language, in both verbal and written communication, IT/smartphone literate, in order to fully use our maintenance reporting system, LogIT. You will be committed to provide a culture of safety, fairness and inclusiveness; willing to foster your development. You will work effectively under pressure, meeting timescales and communicating effectively. You will have high standards of cleanliness and will be tidy and organised. You will have certifiable experience in electrical installations and will possess experience in general maintenance as a handyman, being able to deal with other maintenance repairs as appropriate.
The Company provides Company vans with GPS tracking, to be used whilst at work.
