Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites from domestic to commercial. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications. Diagnosing electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, then executing effective repairs or replacements. Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems. Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety standards. Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects. Carry out PPMs Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Demonstrable electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly desirable. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics effectively. Relevant qualifications such as a recognised Electrician's certification or equivalent are essential. Strong problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
