Edinburgh Landlord Certificates is looking for another electrician to join their team. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in Edinburgh and the Lothians. You would be working within ELC's electrical division, ELC Electrical, under our directors.

A day in the life of this role:

Travelling to various properties within Edinburgh and the Lothians to carry out EICR's and associated remedial works; as well as general domestic electrical fault finding, installation, and very occasionally rewires. You may also be required to carry out Portable Appliance Testing, alarm installation, and other duties as required. Full Training can be provided Completion of digital reports on company-provided tablet. Communication with customers and tenants by phone as required Representing Edinburgh Landlord Certificates and ELC Electrical, offering positive customer service, and being the face of the company

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points Minimum 1 year experience as a fully qualified electrician Experience of PAT testing a bonus but not required, as training can be provided in-house Have the ability to adapt to different environments and customers on a daily basis Basic IT, numeracy, literacy skills and good communications skills Organised, Polite Sales Experience a bonus but not required

Edinburgh Landlord Certificates was founded in 2019 with a view to simplify the lives of landlords by informing them of all maintenance requirements and carrying out all of the necessary checks to make sure that each property complies with current legislation. ELC Electrical is our newly separated dedicated electrical company, founded with a view to expanding our reach and streamline processes.
