Applications are invited for the position of an Electrician in the Estates Department.
Working as part of our Maintenance Services team you will be undertaking a variety of planned and reactive maintenance work across the Estate ensuring that buildings and external areas are maintained to provide a safe, efficient and functional environment for all Campus users.
The Electrician's role is responsible for carrying out reactive and planned maintenance/repairs to high standards of safety, customer service and efficiency. Maintenance work includes:
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing
Fault finding and repairs
Inspections, testing and surveys
Installation, replacement and refurbishment
Minor projects, modifications and improvements
We are looking for an individual who has experience of working in a similar role, can organise their own workload and meet deadlines. You will also need to demonstrate that you meet all the essential criteria in the person specification.
You will be participating in a roster which requires weekend working every 5th week and there is also the opportunity to join the call out team.
