Vox Consultants are currently recruiting for a Electrician

Standard Hours are 39 hours per week, across 7 days as a 1 in 3 weekend shift pattern is in place, which comes with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. You will also be part of the on-call team rota, contributing to the responsive works.

What you will do:

Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met across the contract Testing and inspecting electrical installations in line with current IEE wiring regulations Responding promptly to breakdowns, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently Performing planned and preventative electrical maintenance and diagnosing/replacing failed domestic electrical components Actively fault finding and problem solving on domestic electrical systems Undertaking electrical installation activities according to provided designs and IET Wiring Regulations Monitoring and ordering critical spares for all electrical services, and oversee the BMS System Supporting zero carbon initiatives, contributing to sustainability goals, and handling additional tasks as directed by your line manager

What you will bring:

City & Guilds 2365 (Parts 1-3), NVQ Level 3 or equivalent 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations Experience of electrical maintenance activities, general distribution, installation, and testing Ability to work alone and use initiative Comfortable working at heights and in a secure environment
