Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team primarily based at our Frodsham workshop. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in using both hand and power tools.

We hire distribution boards, mains failure panels, transformers and cable to the construction and events sectors. The role will involve work mainly on panels but also across the entire hire fleet.

This role involves building, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems for our hire fleet. There will be occasional site visits to amend kit.

The Electrician will ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Training on our specific kit that you may be unfamiliar with is not a problem.

Responsibilities

Assemble, amend, and repair distribution boards and mains failure panels. Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the best course of action for repairs. Ensure safety and compliance for staff and customers that come in to the contact with our hire kit. Test and produce certificates for all kit. Use our hire system to log all incoming and outgoing hires. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components. Capable of wiring single phase and three phase distribution boards. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

Qualified Electrician Testing and Inspection (desired but not essential)

Pay: 13.19-28.00 per hour
