Job Description

The McGregor Group are hiring electricians due to the award of numerous contracts.

The candidate must be competent and comfortable on commercial, industrial and domestic projects. They must be able to work alone and as part of a team.

You will be offered a very competitive salary based on your experience and quality, you will be provided with a company van or 4x4, uniform, test kits, Ipads, training if required.

Most works are based in the central belt although there may be the requirement to travel occasionally. There will be a travel, OT, over night allowance etc provided for these works.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in accordance with relevant regulations and standards Inspect and test electrical systems, identifying and reporting any defects or issues Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of service Collaborate with other tradespeople and maintenance staff to ensure comprehensive property maintenance Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and out-of-hours call-outs Maintain accurate records of work carried out, including certifications and test results Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
