City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing

certification to perform domestic and small commercial electrical installations, inspections and test works in Gloucester and surrounding areas. You will contribute to both routine and renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance, safety and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs) in compliance with

BS?7671

and to

2391 standard

Perform fault?finding and rectification work to achieve satisfactory certification outcomes Carry out first/second fix wiring, socket installations, lighting, and minor board upgrades Support solar PV and EV charger installations (in coordination with certified colleagues) as part of renewable energy offerings Complete accurate test documentation and certificates for domestic or light commercial clients Operate with high professionalism and focus on safety per company & NAPIT/MCS/RECC standards Engage with customers and project teams to coordinate visits, inspections, and handovers

Essential Qualifications & Skills

City & Guilds

2391

(or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation

(City & Guilds 2330 or equivalent)

18th or 19th Edition Wiring Regulations

(BS?7671 / 2382 qualification) Valid

UK Driving Licence

with willingness to work across Gloucester area Previous experience delivering test & inspection in domestic or small-scale commercial environments Competence in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and project specifications Clear understanding of latest regulations and manufacturer installation standards Strong communication, time?management, and attention to detail

Desirable Credentials

ECS Gold Card

PASMA or IPAF certification Prior experience with

solar PV or EV charge point

installations (design/hand?over)
