Job Description

We are a growing, family-run Electrical Contractors, seeking a skilled and motivated Gold Card qualified Electrician to assist us on a variety of commercial projects across London. Ideally someone who can take the lead in a pair and interpret drawings. We have projects in hotels, apartments, shops, restaurants, retirement homes, offices and more.

Office based in Leigh-on-Sea but the successful candidate will not need to be local.

Responsibilities:

Carry out hands-on electrical installation, maintenance, and testing work. Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and company standards. Monitor project progress and report updates to management. Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics. Manage materials, tools, and equipment effectively to support project delivery. Be able to effectively communicate with clients, engineers, and site managers to ensure smooth operations. Support the training and development of apprentices or junior electricians.
The Role:

Carrying out installations, maintenance, and repair work (Including Containment install, Conduit, Basket, Tray, ect) Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults safely and efficiently Wiring, 2nd fix BMS knowledge an advantage but not required
Requirements:

Level 2/3 City and Guilds in Electrical Installation ECS GOLD Card Proven experience in commercial electrical work Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. SSSTS (ideally but not required)
CIS or Ltd preferred.

Own tools required.
