Carry out electrical installation and maintenance works in a variety of contracts on both domestic and commercial properties, to provide high-quality, cost-effective building services to the business and its customers.

Person Specification

Qualifications, knowledge and technical ability

Essential

City & Guilds electrical qualifications (18th Amd2 Edition) and 2391 (or latest) Recognised apprenticeship and post apprentice practical application Strong background in carrying out testing and inspection, reactive maintenance works and installation work Have electrical experience, Lighting, Wiring, Alarm systems, Fire Prevention systems Able to undertake risk Assessment (incl. diagnostics and fault finding) Able to undertake electrical maintenance Basic knowledge and understanding of health & safety Have an awareness of Equality and Diversity and how it impacts on the role and service users

IPAF PASMA Ladder 3

Communication

Have strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work under their own initiative with excellent communication and customer facing skills Customer service skills

Working with others

Able to work independently and as part of a team

General
