self-employed basis

for now with the potential of becoming

full-time PAYE in the future

after probation period has ended. Minimum

10 years

of experience is required and has the ability to take on a lot of work until

August 2026

at the minimum.

Current projects in Winchester, Shirley, Fareham, Portsmouth, Chichester, Havant, Eastleigh and Chandlers Ford. We are predominantly a domestic builder working on home extensions, loft conversions, converting properties into HMOs, kitchen and bathroom fitting and we have multiple trades in the team to support all of these roles.

Role Overview:

As a Qualified Electrician with Floorplan Developments Ltd., you will be responsible for executing a variety of domestic electrical tasks. Your role will include installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain domestic electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution. Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with current regulations and safety standards. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and issues promptly. Provide expert advice to clients on electrical systems, ensuring that their needs are met efficiently and effectively. Complete all necessary documentation and reports related to electrical work. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all tasks are carried out with minimal disruption to clients.
Requirements:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. 2391 qualification is desirable but not essential. Extensive experience in domestic electrical work. High level of customer care and communication skills. Own van and tools. 20-mile radius of Hedge End. Current driving licence. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. CIS registered
