Typical Day-to-Day Tasks
Repairing lighting circuits, replacing sockets, or fixing power failures.
Performing emergency lighting checks.
Work closely with the Building and Development Director and Site Services Manager to look at energy saving improvements across the resort.
Installing new electrical fixtures in departments and areas across resort.
Fault-finding issues with all electrical circuits across the resort.
Carrying out routine inspections to comply with health and safety standards.
Responding to guest reports or staff maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across all areas of the resort, including guest accommodation, kitchens, leisure facilities, team areas, and main resort facilitites.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults safely and effectively.
Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and ensure compliance.
Test and inspect electrical systems and complete required documentation to meet safety regulations.
Support refurbishment projects and new installations with wiring, lighting, and control systems.
Work closely with the Site Services Manager and Maintenance Team to prioritise tasks and ensure smooth daily operations.
Available for occasional out of hours call out.

We're looking for a skilled and safety-conscious
Electrician
to join our Site Services & Maintenance Team. You'll help ensure our resort remains a safe, welcoming, and fully functional environment for both guests and team. If you're a qualified professional who enjoys variety and values high standards, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications
Skills & Experience Required
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification is essential.
City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing qualification (preferred).
Previous experience in a commercial or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements, including PAT testing and risk assessment procedures.
Full UK driving licence (desirable).
Competence with basic IT systems for reporting and logging jobs.
Previous experience of using an in-house building maintenance system.
