Avatar Electrical Ltd are commercial and industrial electrical contractors based on the border of London and Essex, and we are looking for a Full Time Permanent Electrical Improver to Qualified Electrician to join our field-based staff.

You will be expected to work mainly within the Greater London area, although some Home Counties work will be required. You will be expected to travel so a full manual driving license is an essential requirement - a company van and fuel card are supplied.

You will be expected to provide a comprehensive service supporting the delivery of products and services to our customer base. To achieve this the following will be expected of the successful candidate:

To develop from Electrical Improver role to a Qualified and Competent Electrician.

Completion of the relevant college and course work.

Compliance with Health and Safety and Company Policy.

Maintenance and installation of electrical systems and associated disciplines.

As part of your ongoing development we would expect the following within achievable targets:

Learn to be the best electrician you can be (we will help you).

Do the jobs you have been trained to do

Gold Card - trying to complete your NVQ Level 3, or get a start, but you can't get the experiences required. We can help, as this is the work we do.

Skills/Qualifications:

C&G Level 3 or equivalent, good work attitude with a can-do outlook, troubleshooting, problem solving, wanting to and being able to ask "Why...".

Please Note The Following Conditions:

This is NOT an apprentice role - we can only consider candidates who already have experience and relevant qualifications. Minimum level is C&G Level 3 or equivalent and TWO years practical experience. As part of the interview process you agree to undertake a written test and a practical assessment. You must be able to drive and have a full clean driving license. For insurance reasons you must be at least 21 to drive the company vehicles.
