Job Summary:
To develop and maintain an effective service to all Business Units in the Company.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and schematics.
Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, switchboards, and varied electrical fixtures including DC systems.
Install and maintain electrical, electromechanical, and electronic parts of machinery and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on plant and shop electrical systems and equipment.
Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Time served electrician with industrial / maintenance experience
17th / 18th Edition
Extensive knowledge of fault finding
Extensive experience of working on DC systems
Knowledge of electrical legislation and understanding of RAMS / SSOW / Permits / LOTO
Desirable
Use of MEWP training
Working at Height training
Confined Space training
Key Interpersonal/Behavioral Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
