The role:
Due to continued contract growth, our King's Lynn office is expanding and we are currently recruiting for a JIB-graded electrician to work on their own initiative and within teams for LV and ICA installation, testing and commissioning works on sites across East Anglia. The role involves travelling on a daily basis for which a vehicle will be provided.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a JIB ECS card, a clean full driving licence, and be qualified to C&G NVQ L3 or equivalent, with experience of industrial and commercial electrical installations.
Relevant experience (e.g. panel wiring, fault finding, control and instrumentation), competence with MS Office and laptop-based configuration apps, and/or additional qualifications such as C&G 2391, IPAF, PASMA, working at height, first aid, manual handling and asbestos awareness training would be an advantage, although relevant training will be provided.
Familiarity with laptop or tablet-based admin systems including MS Word, Excel and Outlook would be advantageous for the planning and ordering of materials through the office and the handover of project documentation after installation.
Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, confined space entry, working at height, first aid, manual handling and asbestos awareness training would be an advantage,
