Duties

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations. Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational efficiency. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks within specified deadlines. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current electrical codes and safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters. Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters. Strong background in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of current electrical codes and safety regulations is essential. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
