Set up remote communications for inverters, batteries & meters.

Document with photographs all of the installed components and ensure that the site is left tidy.

Report progress on a daily basis for overall job management. Strong communication skills with inhouse engineering team.

Approach & Attitude:

Working safely with electrical equipment is the first and most important consideration in all of our work. But beyond that we take pride in the work we do and try to install every system and well as we possibly can. The means we work cleanly and neatly so that when we leave a site we take everything with us and dispose of waste in the appropriate place. Aligning components accurately, ensuring that cables are straight and well secured are clear indications of a job well done, and we expect that at every installation.

Try to plan ahead and to foresee problems before they arise. It will not always be possible, but take the time at the start of each job to understand fully what is required and make sure you have everything you need before you start. If you don't properly understand what is required of you, ask. Don't have a go and hope it will turn out OK. Keep asking questions, the more you ask the faster you will learn and the better electrician you will be.

You will make mistakes, we all do. When that happens you will be judged by how you deal with the mistake not by the fact that you have made it. Do not hide mistakes, ensure that our Installation Manager and or the client is aware of any problems and work with them to find a solution.

Timekeeping is important, we work as a team and your timekeeping can affect everyone on the team. Travelling across London in particular can result in unexpected delays. Leave yourself some spare time and if you cannot avoid being late contact our Installation Manager and let him know in good time.
