Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Stay updated on the latest electrical codes and practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred. Essential Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent

NVQ Level 3 or above

18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certification

City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing

Ability to conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)

Full, clean UK driving license

Pay: 44,000.00-44,430.00 per year
