Duties
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues.
Perform wiring of control panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and construction site protocols.
Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations within larger projects.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
Adhere to project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician is required.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and construction drawings.
Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols.
Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics and blueprints accurately.
Familiarity with NEC standards for electrical installations.
Competence in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and ammeters for troubleshooting.
Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus for certain installation tasks.
