Responsibilities
Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
Diagnosing electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, then executing effective repairs or replacements.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance procedures.
Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards.
Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintaining detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference.
Experience
Proven experience as an Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters is required.
Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters is highly desirable.
Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
A recognised qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent is preferred.

Current BS7671 quals 18th edition or equivalent, NVQ3. 2391 is a bonus
