Duties

Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnosing electrical faults and performing necessary repairs promptly to minimise downtime. Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations. Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget. Maintaining detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance recognised within the industry. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to health and safety standards at all times. Pay: 30,525.00-60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
