We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical installations across various projects. Responsibilities
Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical installations to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, identifying root causes efficiently.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
Maintain detailed records of work completed and materials used for each project.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks on schedule.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices within the industry.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Relevant qualifications such as a City & Guilds or NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
