Job Summary

DVS Electrical Services is currently seeking a qualified electrician to assist with ongoing installation projects and maintenance work in Maidstone and the South East area.

The types of work involved include electrical, data/network, and CCTV installations for both domestic and commercial contracts.

Ideally, we are looking for an electrician based in the Maidstone area who is prepared to travel to various job sites across the South East. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (8:00 am - 4:00 pm). Where required, weekend, out-of-hours, and overtime work will be paid at an enhanced rate.

Applicants must be qualified electricians and possess the following:

A valid CSCS card Own tools and power tools A reliable van Public liability insurance
IPAF certification is not essential but would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and accessories. Perform fault-finding and necessary repairs. Ensure all work complies with BS7671 regulations. Carry out testing and certification of electrical installations.

Experience & Skills

Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role. Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work. Strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work are advantageous.
