MC SPARKS LTD have a full time Electrician vacancy covering the Manchester and surrounding areas on an employed basis.

We are a small company looking for a qualified electrician to work throughout the Manchester/Cheshire area working on mainly commercial offices carrying out landlord upgrade works and tenant specifications.

Job role will include:

Always working safely being conscious of other tenants or trades on site Keeping on top of housekeeping throughout the day Being punctual, polite and organised Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload Carry out hands on installation to Lighting and power, Fault-finding, Power distribution Emergency lighting installation and maintenance installation of power and lighting systems -ranging from small LED lighting replacements through to large commercial installations as part of our team Attending emergencies and breakdowns if required within working hours Carrying out fault finding, repairs and installation Testing, inspection experience would be an advantage but not essential Experience with fire/intruder alarms and door access will be an advantage Open ceiling installation of containment/lighting and wiring will be an advantage.

Requirements

17th/18th edition qualified City & Guilds NVQ Level 2&3 You have a full UK driving licence ECS CARD will be required but not essential to start employment

Schedule:

8 hours on site Mon/Friday 7am-3.30pm 40 hours per week Overtime always available
Work Location: On the road local to Manchester
