About CPMS



Working throughout the UK rail network, CPMS provides a diverse range of infrastructure support services including - railway station platform construction, maintenance and refurbishment works. We also undertake bridgeworks, station roofs and canopies, Civils, M&E and HVAC services. Building maintenance and refurbishment is carried out in stations, depots, signal boxes, lineside buildings, arches, carparks and roadways. Our clients include Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Freight Operating Companies, Heritage Railways and Light Rail.

About the Role



We are currently recruiting for a maintenance electrician to join our team based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical tests including ECR & EICR's, attending and resolving reactive faults, minor remedial works and installs at various locations throughout the North West.

Role Responsibilities



Carrying out electrical tests Completing test certification & reports Fault finding and remedial works Reactive maintenance Undertake remedial works Assist with maintenance and installation works when required On-call rota commitment

What we are looking for



Recognised apprenticeship City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing Demonstrate previous maintenance, installation & testing experience. Excellent attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Confident communication skills Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook Experience of working within the rail industry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided Full driving licence
