About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a maintenance electrician to join our team based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical tests including ECR & EICR's, attending and resolving reactive faults, minor remedial works and installs at various locations throughout the North West.
Role Responsibilities
Carrying out electrical tests
Completing test certification & reports
Fault finding and remedial works
Reactive maintenance
Undertake remedial works
Assist with maintenance and installation works when required
On-call rota commitment
What we are looking for
Recognised apprenticeship
City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
Demonstrate previous maintenance, installation & testing experience.
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Confident communication skills
Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Experience of working within the rail industry would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
Full driving licence
