Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. Duties

Install, test, and commission electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in new and existing structures Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing issues accurately Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and standards Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project or repair Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget Assist in the planning of electrical layouts for new installations or renovations

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints Knowledge of current electrical codes and regulations is essential Previous experience working on commercial or industrial projects is desirable A valid qualification or certification in Electrical Installation or equivalent is required
