Electrician Mate London Underground (engineering Hours)
Job Description
Installation Technology (IT) has been providing network solutions for over 30 years. We work with some of the biggest organisations in education, healthcare and transport. We are looking for Electrician Mates to assist our Electricians and Project Engineers with all data/electrical comms installation projects.
As an Electrician Mate you will be responsible for:
Following Operation Manager's/ Senior Project Engineer's/SPC's instructions
Attending all site briefings and Toolbox Talks
Assisting Project Engineer/Electrician/SPC with site surveys
Assisting Project Engineer/Electrician/SPC during data/electrical cable installations
Assisting the Project Engineer/Electrician/SPC in containment and other electrical equipment installations
Fire stopping all penetrations to current products installation guide
Following the Sentinel/ECS scheme rules as the individual card holder
Essential knowledge and skills :
Sentinel with ICI (LU) Basic standard of education (GCSE or GCSE equivalent) ECS or CSCS (preferable) Structured Data/Electrical Cable Installation Certification or Relevant Experience in Structured Cabling/Electrical Cable installations A minimum of 2 of the following: L&E, QAF54, PASMA, IPAF, Confined Space, First Aid at Work, Roof Top Working, Structured Data/Electrical Cable Installation Certification London Underground working arrangements and site awareness

Electrical Engineering: 6 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Sentinel (preferred) Driving Licence (preferred) SMSTS/IOSH managing safely (preferred)
