We are currently recruiting for a maintenance electrician.

We are a busy, well-established electrical contractor. Sunderland based but often work nationally.

We will provide ongoing training and will invest in you and your personal growth.

We have ongoing contracts and site work, servicing a number of different industries and clients.

Company van, fuel, uniform, test kit and access equipment supplied.

Employed hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.

This is a varied and interesting role. The ideal candidate will have experience within the FM industry, completing routine PPM tasks, reactive tasks and other electrical duties across various client sites. These sites include industrial process plants, commercial and domestic settings. You will be adaptable and flexible with a can-do attitude. You will demonstrate a wide knowledge base. Ideally you will be available immediately and have the following skills:

Time served and experienced. Ideally JIB approved. 18th Edition qualified or working towards. Good knowledge of BS7671:2020. Preferably have a valid ECS or CSCS card Full UK Driving Licence. Experience in reactive domestic and commercial maintenance and call-out work. Visiting multiple sites per day. Excellent fault finding and installation skills. Ability to work on own, using initiative. Technical support always given. Good customer facing skills. Able to test their own work and complete EICR's (domestic and commercial). Have a flexible attitude to work. Possibility of working away if required. A comprehensive tool kit.
