We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing small works, maintenance, testing & solar installation tasks throughout the North West, primarily in the Wirral and Liverpool areas, although assignments may extend to Manchester, Southport, North Wales, and beyond. To maintain our high standards, you will be required to complete job sheets for each assignment, including photographic evidence of the completed work. A work van equipped with a roof rack, internal racking, and a Rhino tube will be provided, with reasonable personal use permitted. Our scope of work encompasses all aspects of electrical services, including installations, new builds, rewires, commercial projects & solar installations. While this position focuses on small works, maintenance, testing & solar installations, you may also be asked to assist on larger projects as needed. Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, small extensions, consumer board replacements, EICRs, and the installation of fans in bathrooms and kitchens (core holes will be pre-drilled)
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all installations comply with local and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects within deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials utilized.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Strong knowledge of solar installations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications
- 18th edition wiring regulations
- NVQ 3 (not essential)
- City & Guilds level 3 (not essential)
- AM2 (not essential)
- Drivers licence
