Job Description

We Are Bau Group are looking for an experienced and reliable subcontractor electrician to support ongoing commercial projects. This role involves working across retail, office, and light industrial sites. The ideal candidate will be self-employed with a strong background in commercial electrical installations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out commercial electrical installations (e.g. lighting, power, containment, data). Interpret site drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. Install and maintain electrical systems to BS 7671 (18th Edition) standards. Perform fault-finding, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Work independently or as part of a larger team on-site. Ensure all work is compliant with health and safety regulations and site protocols.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. ECS Gold Card (preferred). Previous commercial site experience (essential). Own tools, transport, and valid public liability insurance.
