Job Description

Zero Global are seeking a capable and reliable electrician experienced in:

Fitting domestic EV (Electric Vehicle) charging points Installing solar PV systems, including inverters and battery storage General domestic electrical work and maintenance, including testing, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades, and rewiring
You'll be working predominantly in residential settings and must be confident working independently while maintaining high standards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold:

Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) 2391/2394-5 Inspection and Testing qualification (preferred but not essential) Experience with EV charge point installation Experience with solar PV inverters and battery systems Own tools and transport Valid ECS/JIB card

Please note:

Our client have their own head electrician in-house, so they can assist with certification where required. Public liability insurance is not a requirement for this role.

Additional Details:

Location: North East (various domestic sites) Start Date: Immediate Rate: 20/25/hour (subcontract basis) Hours: Flexible based on project needs - roughly 16-24 hours to start off
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
