Main Duties of the Electrician:

Performing a wide range of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Working with various wiring systems and electrical equipment. Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently and effectively. Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and in compliance with current regulations (BS 7671). Testing and inspecting electrical installations and completing relevant certification. Liaising with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborating effectively with other team members and potentially other trades on site. Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken. Adhering to company procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Experience Required:

Proven experience as a qualified electrician. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive and proactive attitude.

Necessary Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

Part P qualification

ECS/JIB Gold Card (desirable).

Full UK Driving Licence. Relevant testing and inspection qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent) would be advantageous.
