Job Description
Generator Power is the UK's largest and privately owned generator rental company having enjoyed over 22 years of supply in the industry. With 9 depots across the UK with and Trackway Solutions in Wetherby we are able provide national coverage. The company provides installation of Generators to all industries, from Hospitals, festivals, renewable energy, telecoms, general construction and is the largest supplier to the utilities sector. Generator Power has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is undergoing further expansion providing an excellent opportunity for an Electrician to join our team at our Wakefield Head Office in Normanton Industrial Estate.
Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week, 8:00AM - 17:00PM 1 hour unpaid break + overtime rates
FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE WITH IMMEDIATE START
Duties/Responsibilities:
Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers equipment.
Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers equipment.
Preparation of equipment for hire.
Installation and disconnection of equipment on site. (Synchronising where appropriate).
Installation and commissioning of power to temporary site accommodation. (Wiring in where appropriate).
Loading and unloading of vehicles.
Carry out duties on call out rota system.
Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
Qualifications/Skills required:
High school or equivalent.
18th Edition
Electrical Certification level 2 or 3
ECS Gold Card
C&G 2391 inspecting testing
Apprenticeship Qualifications
AM2
