Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Duties



Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan electrical layouts. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to perform installation and repair tasks. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults. Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.

Experience



Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance sector. Demonstrable proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws. Strong electrical experience including wiring installation, circuit testing, and fault diagnosis. Knowledge of current electrical codes and safety standards is essential. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation are highly desirable. A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers a dynamic working environment where safety, precision, and professionalism are paramount.
