Location

: Primarily covering Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join our growing team. A large portion of our work is in domestic properties carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) as well as completing the required remedial work, including replacing accessories, rewiring and installing new circuits and replacing consumer units.

The ideal candidate is someone who is proficient and experienced at completing EICRs and the associated necessary certification. There role will also involve minor installation and remedial work, and reactive maintenance duties in both domestic and commercial settings.

We have a growing workforce, and the position is likely to evolve alongside new contracts as we expand in the Solar PV market and commercial install work, and with a sizable training budget, there is great scope to progress within the company as we grow!

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

: Perform thorough electrical testing and inspections in domestic and social housing to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Completing certification through our software on tablets provided.

Electrical Installation & Repairs

: Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in domestic and commercial properties.

Responsive repairs:

Attend commercial and domestic properties to carry out responsive repairs, such as replacing faulty emergency lights identified by our dedicated Fire and Emergency Light Servicing team

Fault Finding

: Diagnose electrical faults and implement efficient repairs

Customer Interaction

: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and ensuring satisfaction with all work completed.

What we're looking for

:

Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th edition) Experience in domestic settings carrying out EICRs and completing certification A keen eye for detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work Excellent communication skills and customer service Full UK driving license

Desired but not essential
