About the Role

This is an exciting time to join our Estates Team! As one of the most environmentally responsible universities in the world, we lead the sector by embedding sustainability into everything we do. As part of our Estates team, you\'ll help to guide and support this work by reducing our carbon impact and accelerating our progress to net zero by 2040.

As an Electrician in our team you\'ll undertake electrical maintenance, repairs, testing and installation works at any of our University\'s properties and equipment. You\'ll provide support and assistance to other trades within the Maintenance Department as and when required.

Our department works on a flexible system based on 37 hours per week, however there will be a requirement to undertake weekend and out of normal hours working when necessary. Uniform will be provided to you.

Essential Criteria:

Please note that to be considered for this role it is essential that you hold a City and Guilds (or equivalent) qualification, that you have completed a Time-served Apprenticeship, and hold the 18th Edition of IET regulations.
