Electrician

37.5hrs per week working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

18.66 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the Estates team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust on a temporary basis. You will play a key role in keeping hospital facilities safe, reliable, and compliant -- ensuring vital services run smoothly for staff and patients.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your electrical expertise in a supportive NHS environment where your work directly contributes to patient care and safety.

Temporary placement up to 6 months

Work carried out will include:

Small installation work Lighting maintenance - lamp and fitting replacement Power circuits maintenance (socket changes, wiring repairs) Emergency lighting testing and replacement Testing & inspection remedials (C2/C3 correctives) Door access system repairs (training on equipment provided) Nurse Call system repairs (training on equipment provided) Plant repairs - air handling units, pumps, and controllers Isolation of fire alarm circuits Supporting planned power outages/emergency breakdowns (occasional out-of-hours) Assisting the wider Estates team, including during emergencies

What we're looking for:

NVQ Level 3 qualified 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Strong electrical maintenance and testing experience Flexible, proactive, and able to work across planned and reactive tasks
