Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse and challenging assignments, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to diagnose faults efficiently. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute wiring layouts accurately. Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future failures. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within scope. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws. Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
