Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team on a self employed basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and have hands-on experience with both hand and power tools. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various settings.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects safely and efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred.
