Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, or industrial settings. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to complete installations accurately. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and electrical codes. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out installation and repair tasks. Document work performed and report any issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work. Extensive electrical experience with a strong understanding of wiring, circuitry, and safety protocols. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members. Relevant experience is required.
